My Final Project for the Vancouver Film School Sound Design for Visual Media Program. This project saw me embark on my first major sound redesign as well as 5.1 Mix. From casting voice actors to synthesizing jet engines, every element of sound in this piece comes from yours truly. Super happy with how it turned out, even more excited that this is only the beginning.
A sound redesign I undertook exploring an action heavy piece with a central signature figure. All of the metal recordings used for Nautilus' (the big metal guy!) movement we're recorded source by myself and collaborators.
A collaboration with the Vancouver Film School's Film Production campus, I worked on this project as the Mixer producing the final 5.1 output along with M&E stems. I also performed all of the foley heard in this piece, and definitely had the most fun making the gore sounds. It was a great new challenge to explore a project in the horror genre and really bring these scares to life.
Robo Rapture was a project taken on by myself and a handful of teammates, taking this shell of a completed game and giving it a full sound treatment. We focused heavily on personalized character voices, strong punchy sound design, and dynamic music. On this project I covered the large bulk of the character and enemy SFX, UI sounds, and also took the lead on the team in terms of Wwise implementation.
